Some lipstick brands are more transfer-proof than others, but if you’re a lipstick wearer (or you live with a lipstick wearer) you know this struggle all too well. Lipstick can be hard to get off of glassware. The stuff is designed to stick to surfaces, after all. If a regular run through the dishwasher doesn’t get the stain off, try rubbing the stain with salt before you put the glass in the dishwasher.

If there’s still lipstick on the glass after that, try removing it with a bit of rubbing alcohol.
